The Savior's Blueprint for Eternal Life
The Most Important Question Ever Asked!
I have become convinced that the most important question a human being can ask is not which church is largest, which preacher is most eloquent, which denomination has the oldest pedigree, or which theological system has the most impressive vocabulary.
The question is much more personal: What does the Most High God actually require of the person who desires eternal life?
I do not want to answer that question by beginning with a creed and then searching for verses that agree with it. I want to reverse the process. I want to put every cherished assumption on the witness stand. I want Yeshua the Messiah to speak first. Then I want John, Paul, James, Peter, Hebrews, and Revelation to testify.
When they seem to pull in different directions, I do not want to silence one witness to protect another. I want a blueprint large enough to contain the whole testimony. This website therefore does not argue that human beings can earn immortality by performing enough religious duties. Eternal life is the gift of God. We need a Savior because we have sinned, not because we have kept the commandments perfectly. But the opposite error is equally dangerous: turning grace into a permission slip to sin and to resist humble obedience to the very Lord whose mercy we claim to receive.
I call this a blueprint because a blueprint doesn't create the building; it reveals the design. My purpose is to trace the design that Scripture itself gives us: grace, faith, repentance, new birth, love, obedience, discipleship, forgiveness, mercy, holiness, perseverance, judgment, resurrection, and life.
If this website contradicts Scripture, reject it at that point. I would rather lose an argument than defend an error. But if Scripture overturns some of our traditions, then our tradition must move. The Word of God does not stand beneath our denomination. Our denomination stands beneath the Word of God.
The question is not whether our traditions can survive the Bible. The question is whether we will obey the Bible when our traditions do not survive it.
